Past Year’s review & New Year’s resolutions

By Galina Yanchova

Do you set goals? Do you have a system that helps you achieve your goals?

After Christmas, most people do New Year’s resolution but do they do Past Year’s 20181228_233336_0000 (2)reviews?

I think that is very important that w

e first make last year’s reviews before we jump to the new year’s resolutions.

Believe me, this will help you avoid repeating the same mistakes over and over again and will help you have more successful setup for goals.

How to do this?

Just go and find your notebook or place where you have written your goals last year. If you haven’t done this, grab one and start.

  • Get a notebook

  • Find a quiet place and start writing.

  • Think about what you have done and what you haven’t.

  • Think about what worked last year and what didn’t.

Once you’ve gone through the past year, look at positives and schedule in a new set of goals.

  • Think about what you want to achieve next month, year, or 5years from now.

  • Think about where you want to be and what kind of person do you want to be.

  • Think about what you want to improve and how you are going to do it.

That’s it! If you try it, let me know how it goes.

If you want to succeed you need to set goals! Without goals, you lack focus and direction.

To accomplish your goals, however, you need to know how to set them. You can’t expect it to happen just because you say  “I want”.

Goal setting is a process, not just wishful thinking!

There are some critical points required if you want to achieve anything…

Even when you think that you know what happens in your life it is crucial that you write it on paper.

Are you Self Aware?

By Galina Yanchova

Self-awareness is a critical tool to help you reach higher levels of job satisfaction, become a better leader, improve relationships with colleagues, and manage your emotions better.

If you begin to consciously practise self-awareness, you can evaluate how your values, passions, and goals fit into your current environment and emotions — and how to align them better. You can also understand how other people view you, creating stronger, more authentic relationships with colleagues.

What does it mean to be self-aware? toa-heftiba-_K0sTUUHQDE-unsplash

Self Awareness is having a clear perception of your personality, including strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, beliefs, motivation, and emotions.

Self Awareness allows you to understand other people, how they perceive you, your attitude and your responses to them at the moment.

Self-awareness is the ability to focus on yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don’t align with your internal standards.

How to develop and increase self-awareness?

There are certain steps you can take to develop your self-awareness.

Before knowing anything else, you need to know yourself first. You need to know your weaknesses, strengths, beliefs and desires in life. Keeping in touch with your emotions means, you have to be self-aware.

Learning how to be aware of yourself might not be easy, but if you can master this skill, it will help you become much more effective in every area of your life. Many of us are not fond of spending much time on self-reflection, many people indeed have a low level of self-awareness.

Grow up in life means growing in maturity, growing consistency and growing in strength. As we become more clear about who we are we will know exactly what we are capable of achieving.

Being self-aware and understanding how you are perceived by others are important components of personal growth and developing your potential.

Could you feed a family of four on £100 or less per week?

By Galina Yanchova

I grew up on a farm. Both of my parents had a job. We had a big garden so we grew potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, carrots, etc. We had also a yard for animals so everything we ate was homemade: meat, cheese, milk…

But still, I grew with the mentality that we did not have enough because my parents had that same mentality. They never had enough because they always called their friends over and ate everything. So sad, isn’t it?

How many of you have grown up in the family that you do not want to have as an example? The big number of you!

We are taught that the family is not that important…

We have to understand that family is very important if we want our society to be healthy.

At a point in my life, I had to learn how to manage money and feed my family. I am a single mum with two children. I find a way to do it and I work very hard to provide…

Later I learned that no matter what background you came from or what class you are from if you want to, you can learn how not to eat all your money,  leaving it in a supermarket and even lose weight.

With some careful planning and smart shopping, money experts say it’s quite possible not only to cut your shopping bills but also cut them to half by eating well for only £40 a week for a family of four.

In the year 2014, the average household spent £83.60 on food and drink each week, with the figure rising to £96 when alcohol and tobacco were included, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Online electrical appliance retailer says keeping a careful eye on how much you throw away – food wastage costs the UK around £19bn a year – is key to shaving pounds off your household budget.

My coach says: This isn’t just about saving money on your grocery bill or eating healthier.  The reality is, what goes into your grocery cart has a HUGE impact on your lifestyle.

It’s More Than Food; It’s A Mindset!

You know our body lives depending on the food!

What kind of food do you put in your body? If you think for a moment you can see that most of the people poison themselves with fast food or ready-to-cook food including me before I understood that it is actually poison.

A big per cent of the population blames everything else for the way they are and wait for something nice to happen to them… Vegetables_-_Viktualienmarkt_-_DSC08608

I believe that if you read this you are probably curious if there is a way and you want to know how to reduce your shopping receipt.

And again my coach says that ‘Everybody is destined for wealth’.

Yes, I know today everybody says that they know because of Google and I agree you can go and find a lot of information which may help you somehow but if you want long-term results you have to commit yourself to learn from somebody who has lifetime results.

So, if you are like me you want to learn and see results then I will share with you everything I learned from my coach.

Development skills/ emotional intelligence

By Galina Yanchova

What is Emotional intelligence?  photo-1454923634634-bd1614719a7b

Emotional intelligence can be defined as the ability to monitor one’s own and other people’s emotions, to discriminate between different emotions and label them appropriately, and to use emotional information to guide thinking and behaviour. Emotional intelligence also reflects abilities to join intelligence, empathy and emotions to enhance thought and understanding of interpersonal dynamics.

EI includes four types of abilities:

  1. Perceiving emotions – the ability to detect and decipher emotions in faces, pictures, voices, and cultural artefacts—including the ability to identify one’s own emotions. Perceiving emotions represents a basic aspect of emotional intelligence, as it makes all other processing of emotional information possible.
  2. Using emotions – the ability to harness emotions to facilitate various cognitive activities, such as thinking and problem-solving. The emotionally intelligent person can capitalize fully upon his or her changing moods in order to best fit the task at hand.
  3. Understanding emotions – the ability to comprehend emotion language and to appreciate complicated relationships among emotions. For example, understanding emotions encompass the ability to be sensitive to slight variations between emotions, and the ability to recognize and describe how emotions evolve over time.
  4. Managing emotions – the ability to regulate emotions in both ourselves and in others. Therefore, the emotionally intelligent person can harness emotions, even negative ones, and manage them to achieve intended goals.
Emotional intelligence is the “something” in each of us that is a bit intangible. It affects how we manage behaviour, navigates social complexities, and make personal decisions that achieve positive results.

It is a flexible set of skills that can be acquired and improved with practice. Although some people are naturally more emotionally intelligent than others, you can develop high emotional intelligence even if you aren’t born with it. Why is emotional intelligence so important? You probably know people who are academically brilliant and yet are socially inept and unsuccessful at work or in their personal relationships. The intellectual ability or your intelligence quotient isn’t enough on its own to be successful in life.
Emotional intelligence affects:

  • Your performance at school or work.
  • Your physical health. If you’re unable to manage your emotions, you probably are not managing your stress either. This can lead to serious health problems…
  • Your mental health. Uncontrolled emotions and stress can also impact your mental health, making you vulnerable to anxiety and depression.
  • Your relationships.
  • Your social intelligence. Being in harmony with your emotions serves a social purpose, connecting you to other people and the world around you

Emotional Intelligence Can Be Developed.

The communication between your emotional and rational “brains” is the physical source of emotional intelligence. The pathway for emotional intelligence starts in the brain, at the spinal cord. Your primary senses enter here and must travel to the front of your brain before you can think rationally about your experience. However, first, they travel through the limbic system, the place where emotions are generated. So, we have an emotional reaction to events before our rational mind is able to engage.

Emotional intelligence requires effective communication between the rational and emotional centres of the brain.

Swagbucks Review

This is one of the ways to make some money online from home and in your spare time.

Like most people, I spend a lot of time on an electronic device browsing on different social networks, viewing movies, etc.

I am realised that I wasting my time on it, day after day.  So I decide to change that.

I discovered Swagbucks when one of my co-workers gives me to check the company they work for. When I did it  I came across Swagbucks.

What is Swagbucks?

Swagbucks is a search engine that pays you for using it.  There are plenty of other ways to earn with, like taking surveys, playing games,  but it’s a search engine. You have to register and use their search engine instead of Yahoo or Google and you can get rewards points just for searching the web. And actually, the site is sponsored by Google and Ask!

Let me say that I do not use it as my ONLY search engine. I personally love Google and can’t give it up, but I surf some using Swagbucks each day and it helps me to earn a little money.

So, if you already know which site you want to visit, do not just type it in the address bar. Go to the Swagbucks search box and type in the address…

Sign up for a free Swagbucks account here

download (1)

Ways to earn:

  • Completing surveys
  • Watching videos
  • Using a search engine
  • Playing games
  • Shopping

By combining all of these techniques, you can earn around £10 – £20 a month and receive gift cards like PayPal, Amazon etc. For ten months I earned £180 gift cards PayPal.

Of course, it is not enough to quit uni and live off, but a nice wee bonus when you want to treat yourself. You can save up your vouchers to buy something you want without paying a penny.

  • Swagbucks has a strong anti-spam policy so you will not receive emails from anyone unless you sign up and ask for them.
  • You do not have to pay anything.
  • Free to Sing Up.
  • Earn rewards for things you are already doing.
  • Signing up earns you an automatic 30 Swagbucks.
  • Download Mobile Apps

  • The mobile site is very limited – only a few features are available at this time.
  • Very slow earning.
  • Strange searches in your history can cause you to get blocked from the site.
  • Mobile Apps are not for all types of device.

Who is Swagbucks For?

Swagbucks is for virtually everyone who is already using the computer and wants to earn rewards.

Can a teen use Swagbucks?

Yes, they do! Teenagers can make money online doing one thing they do virtually every minute surfing the web and instead of wasting time only they can win a gif card.

You shouldn’t quit your job to play games and take surveys all day.  Earning rewards is a slow process. You will not get rich, but as I said you can save gift cards and buy something.

Even if you’re only getting $5 per month that’s is more than you currently get for using a search engine. Not to mention, with Birthdays, Christmas coming up soon, every little bit helps, right?

It’s available in all of the following countries where has an official presence:

  • Ireland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • India
  • Canada
  • Spain
  • Portugal
  • United Kingdom

Affiliate Marketing/ What is it?

By Galina Yanchova

Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s 20180614_104833 (2)(or company’s) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

Affiliate Marketing is simply advertising, tied to a performance metric.

When you think of advertising – you think of a publisher being paid to display a product or service on their media.

The fundamental difference between advertising and Affiliate Marketing – is how any individual publisher is paid for their efforts.

In Affiliate Marketing, the negotiated rate is a commission percentage based on the number of actual customers brought in from the advertisement, as well as how much those individual customers buy.

The industry has four core players:

  • the merchant (also known as ‘retailer’ or ‘brand’
  • the network (that contains offers for the affiliate to choose from and also takes care of the payments)
  • the publisher (also known as ‘the affiliate’)
  • the customer

Affiliate marketing overlaps with other Internet marketing methods to some degree because affiliates often use regular advertising methods.

The concept of revenue sharing—paying commission for referred business—predates affiliate marketing and the Internet. The translation of the revenue share principles to mainstream e-commerce happened in November 1994, almost four years after the origination of the World Wide Web.

The concept of affiliate marketing on the Internet was conceived of, put into practice and patented by William J. Tobin, the founder of PC Flowers & Gifts. Launched on the Prodigy Network in 1989, PC Flowers & Gifts remained on the service until 1996.

Cyber erotica was among the early innovators in affiliate marketing with a cost per click program.

In November 1994, CDNow launched its BuyWeb program. These websites could also offer a link that would take visitors directly to CDNow.

Amazon launched its associate program in July 1996: Amazon associates could place banner or text links on their site for individual books, or link directly to the Amazon home page. When visitors clicked on the associate’s website to go to Amazon and purchase a book, the associate received a commission. Amazon was not the first merchant to offer an affiliate program, but its program was the first to become widely known and serve as a model for subsequent programs.

Performance/Affiliate marketing photo-1524821342922-21007c4fa731

Affiliate marketing is also called “performance marketing”, in reference to how sales employees are typically being compensated. Such employees are typically paid a commission for each sale they close, and sometimes are paid performance incentives for exceeding objectives. Affiliates are not employed by the advertiser whose products or services they promote, but the compensation models applied to affiliate marketing are very similar to the ones used for people in the advertisers’ internal sales department.

The phrase, “Affiliates are an extended sales force for your business”, which is often used to explain affiliate marketing, is not completely accurate. The primary difference between the two is that affiliate marketers provide little if any influence on a possible prospect in the conversion process once that prospect is directed to the advertiser’s website. The sales team of the advertiser, however, does have the control and influence up to the point where the prospect either

a) signs the contract, or

b) completes the purchase.

Publisher recruitment
Affiliate networks that already have several advertisers typically also have a large pool of publishers. These publishers could be potentially recruited, and there is also an increased chance that publishers in the network apply to the program on their own, without the need for recruitment efforts by the advertiser.

Relevant websites that attract the same target audiences as the advertiser but without competing with it are potential affiliate partners as well. Vendors or existing customers can also become recruits if doing so makes sense and does not violate any laws or regulations (such as with pyramid schemes).

  • No need to create a product or service.
  • Don’t have to stock or ship products.
  • Work anytime and from anywhere ( will need internet)
  • Can be added on to current home business

  • It can take time to generate the amount of traffic needed to result in income.
  • High competition.

Affiliate marketing is an ideal home business because it doesn’t require much money to get started, and you don’t have to produce.

Affiliate marketing isn’t hard, but like any business venture, it requires knowledge, planning, and consistent effort to make any significant income.  Learn all that’s involved in making it a success. Like all home businesses, you need a plan and daily involvement to make money with an online affiliate marketing.

Your success depends on how well you execute your affiliate business plan.

Dead sea salt

182007A 2007 study was published that tested the effectiveness of Dead Sea mouthwash and moisturizing cream on cancer patients who were experiencing dermatitis and mucositis while receiving a mixture of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The study showed that the patients receiving the Dead Sea products saw an improvement in their condition.

Dead Sea mud pack therapy is believed to temporarily relieve pain in patients with osteoarthritis of the knees. According to researchers of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, treatment with mineral-rich mud compresses can be used to augment conventional medical therapy.

Some dermatologists claim that the minerals found in Dead Sea products can be helpful for ailments such as skin rashes.

In July 2011, a Dead Sea Protection and Rehabilitation bill was proposed that would regulate the industry Dead Sea Works, as well as a bill that would tax products produced from Dead Sea components.[11] The bill was supported by Gilad Erdan as well as by several members of the Knesset but did not pass.[12] Environmentalists have stated that the vaporizing of the sea’s water to produce commercial products as well as the water being piped to hotels have contributed to the lowering of the Dead Sea’s water levels

The Dead Sea is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and Palestine to the west. Its surface and shores are 430.5 meters (1,412 ft) below sea level,[4][6] Earth’s lowest elevation on land. The Dead Sea is 304 m (997 ft) deep, the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. With a salinity of 342 g/kg, or 34.2%, (in 2011), it is 9.6 times as salty as the ocean and one of the world’s saltiest bodies of water. The Dead Sea has attracted visitors from around the Mediterranean basin for thousands of years. It was one of the world’s first health resorts (for Herod the Great), and it has been the supplier of a wide variety of products

The Dead Seawater has a density of 1.24 kg/ liter, which makes swimming similar to floating.
